DRONING EARTH

Another effect that falls nicely into the realm of relentless, savage, noise.

This is my slightly modified version of DBA’s “Absolute Destruction”.  I played around with a couple of the transistors and resistors to achieve the maximum level of noise stew.

GAIN and OVERLOAD controls are very interactive, and allow for a wide range of merciless, grubby, octave destruction.

It is very harmonically rich in the nosiest of modes, but it also cleans up really well with the guitar volume rolled off, as you can get some “normal” distortion…but who wants that?  Not me.

DBA may explain it best:
“Think of it as a psychotic compressor, or maybe more accurately the sound your amp would make if you set fire to it…or any number of things that your boring friends wouldn’t call music”.
