SUNN Master
This was an experiment that worked out pretty nicely.
The effect is an Acapulco Gold (Earthquaker Devices) running into a Red Rooster (D*A*M). The Acapulco Gold was created to mimic the distorted feel of a Sunn Model T power amp. Does it sound like cranked a Model T??…I’m not sure since I don’t have an original Model T to compare it to, but I’m am sure it is LOUD…and heavy as hell.
The Red Rooster is a treble booster that is based of the Dallas Rangemaster circuit.
So, this effect is essentially 3 pedals in 1:
1. Acapulco Gold (alone)
2. Red Rooster (alone)
3. Acapulco Gold & Red Rooster (together)
