High gain overdrive with an integrated reverb/delay.
The overdrive is a slightly modified Way Huge Red Llama circuit. The modification is a switch that will go between stock circuit (100k on the Drive pot) and ultra high gain Red Llama (10M on Drive pot). I didn’t want this thing to have a million knobs, so the always reliable, two knob Rebote Delay fit this build perfectly.
Putting the delay in front of the overdrive turned this effect into a brutal machine…you can go from a nice clean drive, to massive distortion…all while having delay, or with the turn of a knob, a slapback “East Bay Ray” sounding type reverb. It’s fun.
